In the now digital world of filmmaking a producer must understand not only the artistic aspects of a project but also how the technical specifications affect the workflow and deliverables. Very few producers have the breadth of expertise required to see how all of these digital puzzle pieces fit into the big picture.
Shaun’s career has been a very interesting mix of disciplines - from editing hit television programming for children to launching a 24/7 professional sports network to diving into rich internet application development.
As video technology and the Internet constantly intersect, Shaun seeks the new challenges that are emerging to utilize his unique skillset to innovate workflows and production techniques.
Generally considered a first adopter, Shaun has worked with many different technologies - Transitioning from tape-based linear to non-linear post production, to the digital revolution, DVD / Blu-ray and now tapeless, DSLR and Digital Film workflows including RED, Phantom and Alexa.
